Woddlers
(10–18 Months)
Our Toddler I Program is designed for children ages 10 to 18 months who are beginning to walk, communicate, and explore their surroundings with growing confidence. This stage is filled with exciting discoveries as children become more independent and eager to engage with the world around them.
Our program provides caring teachers, a safe and engaging environment, and a curriculum that supports the unique developmental needs of young toddlers.
Children are encouraged to learn through movement, exploration, and hands-on experiences that support growth in all areas of development. Throughout the day, they will build:
-
Language skills by listening to stories, singing songs, learning new vocabulary, and practicing simple words and gestures.
-
Social and emotional skills by developing relationships with teachers and peers, learning routines, and expressing their wants and needs.
-
Cognitive skills through exploration, problem-solving, imitation, and activities that encourage curiosity and discovery.
-
Fine motor skills through stacking, filling and dumping, self-feeding, simple art activities, and manipulating age-appropriate materials.
-
Gross motor skills through walking, climbing, dancing, pushing and pulling toys, and outdoor play.
-
Self-help skills as they begin practicing independence during mealtimes, transitions, and daily routines.
Daily activities include music, books, sensory experiences, art, dramatic play, and outdoor exploration. Teachers thoughtfully plan experiences that encourage children to investigate, create, move, and interact while building confidence in their emerging abilities.
As children grow and develop at different rates, activities are adapted to meet individual needs and interests. Our goal is to provide a supportive environment where children feel secure enough to take risks, try new things, and celebrate each new accomplishment.
This stage lays the foundation for communication, independence, and a lifelong love of learning.
