At ABC Learning Tree, our Preschool Program for 3-year-olds is thoughtfully designed to inspire curiosity, build confidence, and foster a lifelong love of learning. We believe children learn best through a balance of hands-on experiences, structured academics, purposeful play, and meaningful classroom responsibilities.
What truly sets ABC Learning Tree apart: is our focus on developing independence, leadership, and responsibility. Every child plays an important role in our classroom community through our popular Classroom Job Board. Children eagerly take turns as Line Leader, Lunch Helper, Plant Caretaker, Guinea Pig Caregiver, Classroom Helper, and many other special jobs. These daily responsibilities teach accountability, confidence, teamwork, leadership, and pride while helping children become active participants in their learning environment.
Our preschool curriculum: is designed to prepare children for Pre-K and Kindergarten by strengthening the foundational skills they need for future academic success. Throughout the year, children participate in engaging small-group lessons, learning centers, and hands-on activities that develop: •Early reading and literacy skills •Letter recognition and phonics •Name recognition and beginning writing •Handwriting and fine motor development •Number recognition and counting •Early math concepts, patterns, sorting, and problem-solving •Science exploration and STEM learning •Critical thinking and creativity
In addition to our academic curriculum: children enjoy an exciting variety of enrichment classes each week that make learning fun and engaging, including: •🥋 Tae Kwon Do •🎵 Music •🧘 Yoga •🔬 STEM •👩🍳 Cooking Class These specialty programs encourage creativity, confidence, physical development, teamwork, and problem-solving while exposing children to new interests and experiences beyond the traditional classroom.
