Health and Cleanliness at ABC Learning Tree

At ABC Learning Tree, the health, safety, and well-being of every child are our highest priorities. We are committed to maintaining a clean, healthy, and welcoming environment where children can learn, play, and thrive with confidence.

Our facility is professionally cleaned and sanitized every day by our dedicated in-house cleaning team. In addition, our classrooms are continuously cleaned and disinfected throughout the day by our staff to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

ABC Learning Tree proudly follows all Illinois Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) regulations and City of Chicago Department of Public Health guidelines. Our health, sanitation, and safety practices are carefully implemented each day to provide a safe and healthy environment for every child in our care.

To help reduce the spread of dirt, germs, and outdoor contaminants, we maintain a shoe-free classroom policy. All children change into clean indoor shoes before entering their classrooms, and families and visitors are kindly asked to remove their shoes or wear shoe covers before entering classroom areas.

We also have a comprehensive illness and exclusion policy designed to help protect the health of all children and staff. A copy of our Sick Child Policy is provided during your tour and included in each family's enrollment packet.

At ABC Learning Tree, we believe that exceptional childcare begins with a safe, clean, and healthy environment. We are proud to uphold the highest standards of health, sanitation, and safety so families can have complete confidence that their children are cared for in a nurturing and well-maintained setting every day
